Growing up in Byron, Minnesota, I used to set up my own little salon located in my parents' garage. (Luckily my dad believed a garage shouldn't exist without a heater!) All of my friends would come over before school dances and I would give them an updo or the boys would get a haircut for $10. It was even named "Hair Anya Head". I always knew one day I would have my own salon.  

 

After cosmetology school, I decided to move to "the cities" to become a famous hairdresser. I started my 20-year career in Edina, MN, at Spalon Montage, where I trained as an apprentice and steadily built my clientele. Quickly, I moved up the hair stylist ladder as I traveled back and forth to New York and Miami for advanced training. Then, I went off on my own...

 

I will always be thankful for all my stylist friends back home, as we all taught each other everything we know. So much fun, some of the best days of my life!  Fast forward. Married the love of my life, Robert, and had two amazing kids, Addie and Andrew. I always considered myself lucky that I was able to raise my children at home plus have my career. We moved to Naples in 2010 and I worked in a few salons, but never found exactly what I was looking for... I am very passionate, love everything about the hair and fashion world, and I love giving someone a whole new look!
